COORS CUP LABOR DAY TEAM MEETING

Blades, it is time to start getting ready for the Coors Cup Labor day weekend. We are having an initial meeting and forming committees. We have already secured the rink and refs and have teams in mind. We are going to need a lot of help during the tourney, so you all will need to pitch in. If you have interest in helping out with the entire process, we need you. We will have pizza and drinks. Please email your RSVP. Also if you want to help, but can’t make the meeting, let us know.

LA Blades Skate Party THANK YOU

The LA Blades Ice Hockey Club would like to extend a very big THANK YOU to everyone for attending our annual winter ice skating party this past Saturday night, February 2 and helping make it a huge success.
The Blades hope that you and everyone that attended had a great time and enjoyed the entire event. Opinions and suggestions are always important to us and if there is something that you particularly enjoyed, felt that needed some tweaking or some other ideas we should consider adding to make for even better parties in the future, please respond back with any input that you would like to provide.
Our next party will be some time in the January 2009 time frame (unless you all want one this summer?).
In the mean time, please don't be shy about keeping in touch and also attending some of our upcoming league games and other events.
We are going to be looking for new players to join the club later this year, beginner / novice level team and also a competitive team consisting of intermediate and more advanced skill level players.
Coming on Labor Day weekend, the Blades will be hosting the CoorsCup Ice Hockey Tournament at the Toyota Sports Center in El Segundo. We are anticipating over 200 hockey players, plus friends and fans from across the US and Canada to attend. Details about this exciting weekend will be available later during the summer.
Also, if you would like to be kept updated on our game schedules, let us know. Attending all our games are free.
League Games are currently played at Glacial Gardens Lakewood (Novice team) and at the Skating Edge Arena, Harbor City / Torrance (Intermediate/advanced team).
A schedule is below.
