New Pasadena Level 2 Team Forming

The Blades will be adding a third team to their weekly play schedule. The new level 2 team will start in June playing on Sunday nights at the Pasadena Ice Skating Center.

Blades Hire A Pro for Training Clinic

On Thursday April 19th, the Los Angeles Blades Gay & Lesbian Ice Hockey Team hired an expert player for a practice session. Incorporating Blades players from both the lower and upper level teams, the clinic was held at the Lakewood Glacial Gardens Ice area. Player Maureen Wolfson commented that she enjoyed the practice, especially the passing drills, and thought it was great there was such awesome participation. Another clinic is planned for June.

We will be having board elections and an update on what the Blades have been doing and where we are heading with future teams, games, tournaments and fundraisers. There will be pizza, soda and beer. There are rumors of being able to watch some prior Blades games on Mark’s new HD big screem TV too.
